the internet is funny right? amidst all the ego trippin, i mean warfare that occurred last night, a dear friend blurted out that one HAS no choice but to defend oneself if another is totally defacing the other’s whole being, character & most importantly, credibility. ummm, slander is what it is. but where does it really take you?…not very far at all. remember, people take you where you are. you are successful because of people who have helped you in the past.
so today is a new day! i’m finally getting my paycheck under my mat! yayyy! i received a text this morning saying she will just drop off my paycheck at my house because when she sent it to my address she had gotten it back due to “wrong address” So if it was really truly sent Dec 1 (that’s what she told me, you see), then isn’t it a bit too early to have gotten it back at 8:00 am Dec 3, with the reason of sending it to the wrong address? (note: i’m not only a college graduate but a detective as well).
another good news, the head of the schools that contracted the company i was #fired from, wants to hire me for a full time position :] *GASP* oh my word, hire ME? someone who “isn’t qualified”? i mean, really? the schools and head of the schools saw my work and could they actually vouch that i was an asset to their school?…uh yeah! they want to hire me! yipeee!!! :] i’m just excited because i don’t have to part from my kids, which is the most important news! <3
i’m not writing this to escalate the issue, just defending myself because the venue of the argument WAS on the internet, where all my social network, colleagues, friends & family roam. it’s only fair.
